Bérurier noir is a French punk band formed in Paris in 1983 by Laurent "Loran" Katrakazos (guitar), François Guillemot (vocals) and Dédé (drum machine). They called themselves "noir" (black) for the color of mourning (because their first concert was planned to be also their last) and for anarchy and "Bérurier" after the character from the novels of Frédéric Dard. Instead of being an end, the success of their first show inspired them to continue. A cult band, Bérurier Noir were loved by a generation of youth and feared by concert organisers for the riots that followed their shows.

Legendary punk band who have stood definitively out of the media system.
With a minimum of ways (a rythm box, a guitar, a voice and later a saxophone), they went to the essential : pure energy, committed lyrics and independance in any case.

INOKENTIJS MARPLS "Spēks No Tētiem" (2000)

Toto je taký svojský HC/punk z Lotyšska. Pestrá rockovo-HC/punková smršť. I.M. sú legenda miestnej scény. Tento ich album mám v troch verziách - na kazete, na CD (to som už tuším niekomu daroval/vymenil) a na vinyle. Vinylovú verziu vydal švajčiarsky večný pankáč Pablo na svojom vtedajšom labely Strongly Opposed. Je to myslím vôbec prvá dlhohrajúca vinylová platňa HC/punkovej kapely z Lotyšska vôbec.

P.S. Zhodou okolností som dnes začal čítať knihu "Posledné dni punku" od Gordana Nuhanoviča, ktorú som našiel v antikvariáte. Je tak trochu o punku a o spoločenských pomeroch v post-Juhoslávii.
