Blla Blla Blla is an Albanian-Macedonian rock band from Skopje. It was formed in 1988 by then band members Idriz Ameti, Ermal Skupi (Mehmeti), Nikola Bočvarov and Blagojče Penov. Later, Ermal (who played the violin) left the band and was replaced by Krenar Ismaili (vocal and violin). Idriz Ameti is the singer. Most of the songs are in Albanian. Their style is called “Over Sky Ballkanishe Re-form” by the band itself, though there is no general consensus in categorizing their characteristic rock. Other styles or genres used are Balkan-rock and punk.

Divadlo STOKA - film a re-up CD

Náhodou som natrafil na You tube na film o konci divadla STOKA. Ten dokument som síce už videl pred niekoľkými rokmi (tuším v A4-ke), ale potešilo. Tak som pri tej príležitosti obnovil aj link CD-čka Stoka, aby tej kultúry nebolo málo.

Na koncerte bieloruskej Molchat Doma kapely u nás v Bratislave som sa stretol s jednou známou z Macedónska, ktorá mi priniesla nejakú muziku z ich krajiny.

Jedno z prinesených CD obsahuje výber macedónskeho punku/HC z obdobia 1979-2001. CD pôvodne vyšlo myslím v roku 2001, no teraz po rokoch sa znovu objavil jeho dolis ku knihe "Macedonska Rock Encyklopedija". 

Ja som túto nahrávku už pred 6 rokmi na blog dal, vtedy mi ju poslal jeden človek cez mail s odkazom na ulož to.

Full anthology of Selferadication Dpt (Отдел Самоискоренения) , a soviet punk band founded in 1983 and banned by the KGB in the 1984 for their radical political point of view. (You tube)

First Soviet and Russian anarcho-punk band that was active since 1981 and totally banned by KGB is a legend that actually lives. Cult status of this band was achieved not only because of great provocative lyrics and music that still sounds fresh today but as well because of DIY studio Begemotion Records started by bandleader of OS. This underground enterprise managed to produce plenty of underground music from USSR and it was an insane deal for these harsh times in totalitarian state. Finally this year OS music has made a crucial step out of the shadow and is being released on a 7” vinyl and a double CD anthology. After 30 years of silence Otdel Samoiskorenenia (Department of Self-Eradication) has finally got a chance and a reason to play their timeless punk chants live.

• OS is one of the first punk-rock bands in USSR ever! "Raegan and Andropov f*cked the whole Europe" (Military Monarchy), for 30 years that was the only phrase that only the real punk rock fans in Russia would chain to the name of the band.

  
  

  "Selferadication Dpt." was founded in the 1983 by Feddy "Begemot", and along with a partner-band "People's Army" (Народное Ополчение) was making records at the underground punk studio called Begemotion Records, at the Feddy's home. The studio used 6mm home tape recorder for making records and copying releases. "Selferadication Dpt." released few singles and three albums with free distribution among friends and punk rock music fans. In the 1984 the anarch-punk band was banned by the KGB for its radical anti-soviet lyrics. Since then Feddy made couple of punk records for "People's Army" and other punk bands and closed the studio for punks. Feddy remains a punk by nature, writes and performs experimental music as FEDDY.
