KOKRMENT "Na samém pokraji štěstí" (1991)

KOKRMENT - alternatívna, či new wave kapela, ku ktorej som sa dostal náhodou pred pár rokmi cez kamoša a ktorá ma baví dodnes. Zmes svojského pojatia indie hudby, post punku a svojráznych textov ma oslovila na prvýkrát. Už dávnejšie som ju chcel pridať na blog, pretože si myslím že je to nedocenená a prehliadaná kapela. A neprávom. Veď posúďte.

Kokrment

(1979 - 1991)

Kokrment group was founded in 1979 and their music has interfered several factors. As a band was born of our scene during the golden age of PJD (Prague Jazz Days) and CS alternative. Of course, alternatives to the start based on the classical source of inspiration for this scene - Frank Zappa, or Cpt. Beefheart. But it is also reflected in the developing world, new wave, and it influenced many bands like Devo. Kokrment therefore tried to be a kind of intersection between the so-called alternative and new wave. Formation of these musicians were: Jaroslav Stanko (g, voc, tp), Milan Větrovec (ds, voc), Martin Schwaler (BG), Peter Stanko (voc) and Paul Vasko (pc), but after about a year of playing left. Members of the band later played in bands like SOUBOR TRADIČNÍHO POPU, MICHAEL´S UNCLE or SVATÝ VINCENT.
